More than art

I overheard an english guide saying this interesting comments to the visitors in the Vatican Museum yesterday. " If you are not an artist, you can be an art teacher. If you can't teach, you can be a critic." There sounds a point with a strong sense of humour.

I'd like to add a sentence though. " If you don't like criticising, you can be an admirer. " Surely you will be more popular then.

The first time I enjoyed beach

I never thought that I would enjoy beach. Sun bathing is a european thing in my dictionary. But today I laid on the lovely italian beach of  S. Muranlina for 4 hours and got my feet burned. The Mediterranean sun have shaped me to a brand new person.

The sun of June is not very harmful yet. If I have enough sunscreen spread evenly over my body, I wouldn't burn my feet. The water is a bit cold to swim. My roommate only managed a few minutes in the water. Only the kids didn't know what means by coldness. They enjoyed it very much.

Today is the first time in my life I did nothing but lay on the beach for hours without thinking too many things and just chill out. I am not the person who takes afternoon nap ever since I was a kid. I am the type who can never get relaxed completely. But thank goodness that I have this afternoon. I found life is enjoyable today.

7 Days in Barcelona

Barcelona is definitely one of the best tournist destanations all year round. Medditeriance sunshine with fine beaches, prestige shopping malls accompanied with affortable street markets, would heritages cathedrials and top museums, local parks and markets, you name it......you can eaily spend a week here.

Although Picasso seems the key figure whom you have to pay tribute to when you are in Barcelona, Antoni Guadi is in fact the dominant icon of the city. The architechure has dedicated his energy and talens to some of the outstandings building and cathedrials which shape Barcelona and make it one of the most valuable cities to visit. Park Guell, Palau Guell and Sagarda Familia I have visited and Casa Batllo, Casa Mila and some other I haven´t visited, there is no doubt that this man is a genius. Guadi´s works seem to avoid using any straight line in all the possible way. It´s siad that he has adapted mose ideas from the nature but for me his works are some dreamlike colourful organs what are built deep down in the ocean. His genius way of using colours and lighe are so cutting edge in his time. Guadi´s design has changed my view of architechre as well as most visitors´ idealogy of shapes and light in a building and cathedrial.

I am so blessed that it had not rained a day in the past 2 weeks. Madrid and Barcelona have completed beautifully. Tomorrow I am flying to Rome in the afternoon. I am so looking forward to it with all my attentions though.

My heart aches again

It's my 9th day on the journey and I already feel tired. My heart aches and I feel lack of energy to move on in the afternoon. Every step requires an extra effort than yesterday. I know I am old but I never thought I am that old that I can't even go through the day. I returned to the hostel a little past 7. Sitting down and waiting my energy to come back. I cannot fully concentrated on writing even now which is nearly one and a half hour later.

Some said everyone knows their days somewhere in the subconscious. Sometimes I doubt if my day has already arrived. I feel like I am dying somehow....it's closer than ever.
